EPC expiry checker

An EPC lasts 10 years. Enter the date on the certificate to see when it expires and whether it covers your landlord database registration window.

Do I need a new EPC?

You need a valid EPC when you market a property to let. Under current rules a certificate that expires during a tenancy does not need replacing until the property is next let or marketed. The landlord database asks for the EPC, so check it is still valid when your region's window opens. Do not know the date? Use the EPC rating checker.
