Epiclet is run by Edge Digital Solutions LTD (trading as Digital Edge), company number 11540507, registered in England and Wales, registered office Unit 10, 80 Lytham Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 3AQ. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC282536. Contact: hello@digitaledge.uk.
What we collect
- Portfolio check: the addresses and postcodes you enter, and your email if you give it. We store a summary of each check (counts, not your addresses) unless you create an account.
- Account: your name, email, phone if you add it, a hashed password, your property addresses, the documents you upload and a dated log of changes you make.
- Quote requests and forms: what you send us, including contact details.
Why we use it
To run the service you asked for (contract), to send reminders you have switched on (contract), to introduce you to an installer when you ask (consent, given at the time), and to keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
EPC register data
We look up public Energy Performance Certificate data from the government register. Address data from the register is used only for energy-efficiency purposes, in line with its licence. We do not publish individual addresses.
Who we share it with
Cloudflare (hosting, storage and email routing), our email provider for reminders, and an installer only when you ask for a quote on a property. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Account data while your account is open and for 12 months after you close it, so your evidence record is not lost by mistake. You can ask us to delete it sooner. Check summaries for 24 months.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@digitaledge.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
